David Tudgey
Project Development Manager
Dave has been a very active member of the network since its conception. Having previously spent 12 years at Parsons Brinckerhoff he is now focusing all his energies on developing community energy projects. Through his part time role as project development officer he is helping coordinate existing projects and catalysing others. There is always a lot going on but do get in contact if you’ve an idea or better still want to get involved in an existing project to help make it happen!
Rachel Moffat
Coordinator
Rachel’s desire to be part of a green and fair transition drew her to community energy and the work of Bristol Energy Network. Her role at BEN involves supporting members and connecting them with each other for collaboration, working with the Energy Champions network, looking after BEN communications, and supporting the development and delivery of projects.
Robert Smart
Support Officer
Robert has engaged over 80 domestic homes within the Bristol area in Thermal Imaging surveys. His expertise lies in improving the energy efficiency of homes and buildings. His role is primarily in supporting workshops on draught-proofing, such as our recent programme with the Centre for Sustainable Energy and Energy Tracers, Bristol Heat Pump Ready. Robert is a former Board member who has a deep passion for empowering individuals as part of the Just Transition.
Lucy Lifton
Marketing & Communications
Officer
Lucy has been marketing sustainable causes for over 6 years. Through her work on her local allotment site, she is driven to empower local communities and has joined BEN at a very exciting time. Her mission is to support the communications and delivery of the BEN membership, driving forward the ambitions of the organisation and its members to deliver community energy for the community.
Gary Regis
Office Manager
Gary has lived in Bristol for the last 15 years and is a keen community activist, with a passion for all things green. Having seen BEN’s work first hand at one of their local events, he was impressed by their knowledge, empathy, and skills in helping people and communities get access to funds to get their community projects from concept to reality. He will enjoy bringing his skills to the BEN team to drive us forward.
Faith Terry-Doyle
Support Officer
Faith is passionate about climate justice, studying for an MSc in Environmental Policy and Management at the University of Bristol. She has joined BEN to support our projects, and is currently working on our Mission Net Zero project, engaging communities around our Energy Champion programme.
